Most Iraq vets do not think Bush is a good commander in chief. Many think he's pisspoor. This is proven by a recent North Carolina poll of active duty servicemen where 53% disapproved of Bush as commander in chief. A rare poll since the military isn't supposed to express political beliefs.

The troops 100% support their buddies and want the mission to be done well, but see massive corruption, lies, boondoggles and misleadership at the top and do not like it. They especially do not like Halliburton corruption, the Saudis, Big Oil companies and the armchair chickenhawks who've never seen a battlefield in their lives.

I have spoken to some Iraq vets. While they are very loyal to themselves and the mission, they are very disappointed and perplexed with who sent them to Iraq, how and why.

One of the big lies of this war is that Bush-Cheney are claiming to be defending us and are on the side of the troops. Not true. Bushies are using, mis-using and exploiting the troops, and now only trying to put out huge fires in the Middle East which they themselves voluntarily started. Most of all, Bushies are focused on covering their own butts. To do this, they will say anything or do anything.
