Was looking at Curagen and Gene Logic, both getting creamed the past few months.

But they show different pictures.<g>

CRGN Is trying to form a base at the $3 level without testing its April 28-April 29 double bottom at 2.75. It has reported better revenues in the last 3Qs and the pending 4thQ will also look good on revenues by comparison to 2004.The loss for the year is expected to be cut to $1.50.shr vs. $1.81/shr in 2004 and it seems that the stock has a good chance in closing its Dec.13 downgap and testing the resistance above $4.

CRGN's charts look worse than CEGE'on its daily and weekly and montly basis and it is something to consider if we are looking at "bottom fisshing".<g> The H in February 2000 was 128

CEGE on Thursday was able to trade above its August 2 H of 6.72. Its revenues in the last Q were down sequentially and 98% compared to 2004 and most likely will also look bad for the last Q. The loss for 2005 is estimated at $2.42/shr vs. $2.23/shr in 2004. It seems that the stock will close some of its Dec.15 upgap.

CEGE's charts look better than CRGN's both on a daily, weekly and montly basis. CEGE's H in March 200 was 61.75

I still think the best time to buy stocks is "on the way up".<G> As Jesse used to say:"It is usually not good to buy stocks too cheap or too easily.".<g>

GLGC Started an upmove on Friday

But it seems that it will need some more help before going through the resistance at the 4.50 to 4.80 level

bigcharts.marketwatch.com

It announced last month the completion of enhancements to its gene expression capabilities and its cooperation with AFFX.

And on Dec.12 it announced its deal with Roche for a drug development agreement that will seek alternative development paths for multiple Roche's drug candidates.
