It is difficult to determine if there would have been enough evidence to convict Kerry on the charge of treason...on the surface it seems like a very strong case....certainly I think he should have beeen tried....but the mood of the country was anti-war....and so he along with many like him slid by...IMO. J.

Treason is a crime defined in the United States Constitution, Solon, not a dictionary. =========================================================== US Constitution Article III ............................................................... No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.
