I got a little nervous when crossing a creek or ravine on a high log. Calked boots help. (We called them Corks.) I shuffle too much when I walk, so corks actually slowed me down on the ground.

I bruised my kneecap on a fall during a walk with friends last year. Took a long time to get over.

Falling off a roof is something that I dread, so I don't go there any more. I'm sure it would finish me.

My Dad broke his leg falling off a rickety ladder and was never quite the same for the rest of his life. That ladder went to the dump after he died.
