Based on his statements yesterday aggressively defending his decision to use the NSA and saying he will do it again, I would guess we will hear more of the same tonight. He is essentially challenging the congress, "go ahead, see if you can make me stop," a very Rovian stance designed to split the opposition, daring Republicans to take him on. Whatever the editorials, Bush believes he is on firm legal ground and I think he actually relishes the opportunity to test the legal thesis of John Yoo and David Addington before a court he will have packed with 2 choices by the time it ever comes around.
