You have criticized some of the western commentators about China's economy. (Especially the Chicken Little, China's going to crash types..) Obviously you have been proven correct so far.

I have heard of the wide disparity in income in China. (Especially between the rural areas of Western China and the Eastern Cities..) Not only from you but from colleagues at my work. (We have a Beijing office..) I guess I was just wondering how effective you think this change will be. It seems that some of the issues require major infrastructure investments, rail, roads, etc. for Rural/Western China. I have read that it apparently takes less time to ship something from the port of Shanghai to Long Beach, California that it does to ship something from Shanghai or Beijing to Western China. I would think this would be an impediment to development.
