Name one liberal anti-war candidate who has ever won the White House. Or has ever come close to winning the White House. (zero is the answer)

It is not Bush Lite to be a centrist. Bush is way-way over the line into unethical areas we centrists don't even venture into. This is about honesty vs. corruption. Until you get rid of the crooks sucking on the public teat now, no progress. So first things first. And centrists agree with liberals on many of the most important issues. GOP moderates do too, to a lesser degree. So why not all band together?

American is never going to be Holland. We have a 40% conservative block in this country and even when out of power they have to be reckoned with and worked with. What we need is bipartisanship unity with moderates now, not a leftist version of B ush, divisive and arrogant.

For instance, Feingold is a great senator, but he's not electable because he's too liberal. Not to mention obviously Jewish. The "too liberal" thing hurt Kerry last year, remember, even though it was wildly exaggerated. Actually Kerry is electable. They just stopped the truth from getting out by constant repetition of lies. But anything left of Kerry, fuggetaboutit.
