average Americans are in general very ignorant of the details of what, where and when statements are made. They get it from the elite of the New York Times.

Simply look to how President Bush and many other good and decent men are libeled today. Look what happened to Trent Lott by having the meaning of a message twisted.

I simply do not accept any supposed quote of any other without seeing the exact words in context.

My own nat's ass analysis of Ms Coulter has found her to be loose with the sarcasm and hyperbole, be dead on when detailing facts.

Could one comment have been twisted and been a major contributor to an individuals fall from public grace? It has happened.
