LONDON — Japan-based semiconductor production equipment manufacturers posted a book-to-bill ratio of 1.05 for November, up from 1.01 for October and 0.90 in September, according a Reuters report that cited the Semiconductor Equipment Association of Japan (SEAJ) as its source.

The three-month average of worldwide bookings in November was 133.34 billion yen (about $1.15 billion), the report said, up from 122.2 billion yen (about $1.08 billion) in October.

The book-to-bill ration stood at 1.09 in June and 1.08 in July before declining below 1 in the second half of 2005 and then rising again.
