Yah, but you got to understand - they are dealing with mental deficients to begin with - they will buy any lie probably:

While new Defense Department guidelines to increase recruitment doubled the number of "Category Fours" to 4%, Army recruitment of the mentally challenged was a whopping twelve percent for October, three times the already doubled figure. So embarrassing are the figures, which are also an indictment of Bush policy, that from now on the Army will refuse to release figures for the different categories.

"In healthy societies, military service is a patriotic honor and a natural impulse to defend the folk. Ancient Greeks were only enlisted after having fathered children, and in Switzerland even today all able-bodied men are members of the militia.

"However, in imperial societies, which are societies in decline, standards are dropped even as military policy is shifted off of defense of hearth and home, and foreigners, the mentally ill and slow and convicts are used, while drafts are usually instituted.

"The Ottoman Turks kidnapped White children and raised them to be Janissaries, and even had a corps of insane people who would throw themselves unarmed at enemy positions in human wave attacks. Ottoman forces were often "paid" with rape and looting privileges. The Romans increasingly recruited foreign auxiliaries as their empire expanded, and many corrupt Emperors had foreign bodyguards. The British Raj relied on native levies, with only a handful of White soldiers in all of India.

"Needless to say, such military policies have inherent weaknesses. The patriotic Roman Praetorians slaughtered Nero along with his German mercenaries; the Turks finally had to exterminate the Janissaries and Mamlukes (their famous "soldier slaves"); and the British in India were forced to endure the devastating Sepoy Mutiny, which nearly dislodged their grip on the Subcontinent. In Vietnam the US draft army was decimated, while today in Iraq the US is facing a war of attrition that is leading to defeat."
