John - It is not the trashing of protections of the Constitution that will keep us safe - it is a mindset. The mindset of continually throwing money into a military machine, obvious is not the correct mindset nor the answer. It will only bankrupt the Empire. So what is that mindset that will offer protection - long term? Instead of going throughout the world sticking our finger into everyone's eye - and then being surprised at the response, we should do what China is doing. They are making agreements throughout the world to guarantee a supply of raw materials (read OIL!) China is making it in the financial interest of third world nations (or even Canada for that matter) to supply their growing machine. China is not being judgemental, they are being pragmatic. Don't ever think that taking away our freedoms is the answer to security - nothing could be further from the truth! Steve
