Bush just lied again. Said that since the Patriot Act is running out he needs these extra powers. Problem is, the senate has offered to extend the Patriot Act, just wants the ability to take out a few provisions within three months. Plus, Bush could have surveillance powers if he just works according to the rules. But he broke the rules. Be broke the law. And now we need to know who he was spying on in the US. Nobody in their right mind trusts Bush-Cheney with these extra powers. Just look what they did to Valerie Plamem and cheating on all the elections. They clearly cannot be trusted and would abuse those powers for selfish illegal reasons.
