O/T: Actually, Poopsy, you're only 30 years behind with that thoughtful little offering.... ...You see, Dan Duckham (AIA), whose home/office is located just off Oakland Park Boulevard in sunny Ft. Lauderdale, FL designed *The Last Word* condominums circa 1975. As he is one of the Frank Lloyd Wright-types in the area (..and I had worked with him before..), it was absolutely delightful to be the electrical design engineer on that premiere project as well. At that time, it was certainly expected to be the cat's meow of communal residences in the ritzy disctrict near OPB and the Intracoastal Waterway on which it fronted. It also gave us occassion to lunch at the Cat's Meow now and then, which was a kick, and get to BS with the delightfully ebullient owner, Sy Shiffman. Dan was a really cool dude, he had the very first, bright yellow, Porsche Targa in town back then Thank you for triggering that memory. I think I'l give Dan a call and wish him the best for 2005 and beyond. OBTW, you've never had the 'last word' in your whole life, according to your Mommie. "...Merry Christmas...". John :-) .
