CYBER, Hadn't thought about that. There may be some that just quietly did a good job in Congress, but never got any press. Teddy Roosevelt comes to mind because of the charge up San Juan Hill, and there were probably some from the Revolutionary War, like George Washington, but those were very different times.

I can think of a lot of heroes, but they just didn't want to get involved in politics, and I can't blame them for that.
