I was watching 60 minutes a while back and saw that GM was paying laid off workers like $27/hr to clean churches. I was aghast. What chance does GM have? How would the government step in? Take over the pension funds and medical care? I also remember Lee Iacocca took a $1 salary when the gov. bailed them out. Gotta wonder if the GM management would do that.
