So should clinton have gone through regular channels with Echelon Project regarding the aftermath of the Oklahoma City bombing? He did not and apparently, no one cared.

The Bush/NSA is about spying on international operations which are the ones most likely connected to AQ.

We will probably never be ready for a dirty bomb. If true, prevention is the logical answer along with a recovery process. Anything we can get from AQ through NSA intercepts, or otherwise, is vital.

John, re this: The real worries are about the actual preparation of the country in case of something like a dirty bomb. We are way behind on that one.

If you were President, and you KNEW that an A-Q operative were talking to a person in the US (not necessarily a citizen of the US), and they were making plans to leave a dirty bomb or two in major gathering places in the US....

What would you do?

These people can change cell phones and email very rapidly, like some people change clothes several times a day.

Would you go to a Judge, and tell the Judge you thought this was going to happen.....(it hasn't happened yet), or would you arrest the person, or would you just wait until the dirty bombs go off....
