Have you seen this one? A great article from a great man!"

Far be it for me to criticize someone who survived the fire bombing of Dresden. He was moved to make this public long before the government admitted it had happened. That took a firestorm in Yellowstone for the government to pony up to the fact that it knew what had happened. Not to mention the author of my mantra, "so it goes". Vonnegut is in my pantheon of gods, incarnate. And he likely will suffer the fate as described in "The Inferno" by Larry Niven. I am a true follower of Bokonen. "Nice, nice, very nice. So many players in the same device". Cat's Cradle. Or google Bokonist. CC has sparked many of dedicated web sites. If you haven't read it, you should. Ice 9 is nonsense, but that wasn't clear at the time of the novel. We were still in the grip of dirty glassware at the time.

Let me be succinct. He is more pessimistic than I am. Which says a lot.

Why can't people see that Vonnegut is the true everyman and not a fake like the one in the White House; that he is the quintesenssial American........the real deal.........no matter where he was born.

The fact that so many....more than one is too many.....admire Bush shows how far we have strayed.
