Bush lied and cheated to get into power both elections. You talk about 2000, remember what Bush told us. These were some of his whopper promises. - The environmental president (worst record ever on that since) - Jawbone OPEC to bring down gas prices (gas gouging galore only ended when congress started discussing windfall profits taxes and Bush's ratings hit 35%, now mysteriously 75 cents cheaper suddenly. Duh.) - Humble foreign policy, no nation-building (what was Iraq?, the biggest nation building ever, and anything but humble) - Honesty and integrity back to the White House (the most dishonest administration since who knows when) - Plus,. Bush never once mentioned terrorism, nor lifted a finger against it until AFTER 9-11, even disbanded Clinton's counter-terror operations and called the FBI off the Saudis. What are you defending these guys?
