Many of those Border Patrol agents wave the Mexican flag not the American flag. Check out the check point a little north of Las Cruces on the interstate to Albuquerque. Come in with California plates and a tired, perplexed look on your face to be sure you are flagged for the dog sniffing team. They keep you off to the side for about 20 minutes and interrogate you. I asked one of the agents why they are wasting all their time with me as in today's age you can check to see that I have a clean record, have been a US citizen my whole life and am not Mexican. This got the agent in such a fit I swear he was gonna blow me away right there as he announced he is Mexican and is deeply offended and very upset by my comments. It started a 5 minute tantrum from this lunatic about me being a racist and how many Russian and Arab drug smugglers and illegals they had caught over they years. I was about to ask why then don't they have a diverse group of agents including Russian and Arab's instead of all Mexican but thought it would be better to keep my mouth shut to live another day..
