If every criminal in the USA knows about Tookie, that's excellent. The last thing they'd want is to have Tookie forgotten. He spent decades in a cage, then was killed. "If you want to be like that, join the Crips and start murdering and robbing. Alternatively, get a job and try being nice". Mqurice PS: I doubt more than a dozen criminals bought his books, or read them.

n the kind of funeral normally reserved for a dignitary, religious leaders and celebrities traveled to violence-wracked South Los Angeles to pay respects to the man who helped found a deadly street gang, then spent the years before his execution denouncing the gangster life...."If they think they succeeded by killing him in getting people to forget about him, they have done just the opposite... I wonder how many of these celebrities attended the funerals for the victims he murdered in cold blood. I wonder how many of these celebrities even know the names of his victims, or have offered financial help or emotional support to their families. I wonder how many of these celebrities even care that his victims had families and friends who mourned their loss at the hands of a cold blooded killer.
