State regulators, SEC, NASD, pinksheets.com for starters. One other thing to add to your checklist. No private entities or principals with ownership of assets used by the business. Too many conflicts of interest and usually it's just a device to screw shareholders. E.g., private entity or principal owns the gold mine and claims to lease it to the public company. Public company gets diluted up the wazoo (a river in France lol) or public company goes bk. Owner starts again with a new entity.
