International tracking of known terrorists during a war is a legal option (and duty in this case) for the President. If a German commander called someone in the U.S. during WW2 would the President need a court order? Of course not. Same with terrorists operating a broad now.

Only an extreme Bush (and America) hater could be offended by this program, much less call our CinC a criminal for tracking our enemy.

An extreme position your party is taking. As a republican, I am encouraged by the dem position. As an American, I am disgusted and appalled.
