LOL!!!!!!!!!

You DID notice, didn't you (I sure did) that you DIDN'T link to anything that would establish your allegation that I said 'I didn't miss any factors'!

(To refresh your memory... when you first came up with your faulty remembering of what you thought I'd posted... seeming to think that I'd claimed to have listed 'factors' for why thus far the Bush II recovery has been below the average post-WW II recovery, I actually corrected you --- and linked to my ORIGINAL POST to prove it --- by explaining that my post was only a short TWO SENTENCES, and *didn't include ANY* 'factors' for 'why' the recovery was sub-par. You had simply imagined that I said more, I guess.)

Here is the original link:

And the FULL TEXT (note: no 'factors' at all are listed)

Actually, by historical standards, looking at other recoveries after recessions... this recovery is sub-par. Below the average.

--------------------------
Now, as to the REST of the 'links' you replied with... that you CLAIM prove that 'Buddy is really lying, as posts prove.'....

I checked them ALL out. You do realize, don't you, that NONE of them establish anything of the kind?

Is simply me pointing out to you that you must have made a mistake... and that I NEVER said what you were posting, claiming I'd said.

Is just my original post (reproduced in FULL at the beginning of this reply already...) The simple fact that, thus far, the latest recovery is mathematically below the *average* post WW II recovery has not been challenged by anyone --- yourself included. (So, that one, too, would have to be: not lie. :)

Like I said before though --- if you've GOT SOME COMPARATIVE STATISTICS that you believe refutes my observation --- I'D SURE LOVE TO SEE THEM. (Really!)

And your FINAL LINK put forward in an attempt to 'prove' that I 'lied':

IS ACTUALLY ONE OF YOUR OWN POSTS... NOT ANYTHING I HAVE POSTED! (It's the one where you first gripe that I am 'dismissing factors' that would explain or justify why the recovery is below average --- when in fact, I hadn't listed any 'factors' AT ALL for why the economy was good OR bad.)

I replied to your post, of course, that 'I didn't 'dismiss' any factors, Scott... just pointed out the statistics.'

And when you continued demanding that I 'list some factors'... I politely answered you with this post:

Re: "My complaint is that your analysis was wrong because you left out a lot of important information."

GEEZE, Guy!

I made one SHORT post, containing only ONE FACT. It *wasn't* an 'analysis'.

The *true fact* that, thus far, this recovery has been below the average of other post WW II recoveries.

You DO NOT DENY THIS FACT.

Now, are you asking me to post a detailed analysis of this recovery, attempting to come up with reasons to explain the recovery's sub-par performance?

You ALREADY mentioned some reasons --- (9-11 shock, war in Arghanistan, War in Iraq, 'WOT'... I would add some others that the C.B.O. and the G.A.O. pointed out: failure to control run-away government spending, tax policy mix that is less stimulative then a more appropriate mix might be, asset deflation 'exported' from Asia with China and Japan's managed currencies, increasing drag of interest payments on the rising national debt load, soaring costs of Medicare and health care in general, unproductive pork-barrel government spending, tax loopholes that divert economic activity away from productive growth and into the narrow capturing of tax benefits, corporate welfare, unproductive and wasteful government programs all over the place, etc.)

Re: "My complaint is that your analysis was wrong because you left out a lot of important information."

GEEZE Guy! I made ONE COMMENT, and you NEVER ASKED for more... you just went postal.

Are you feeling better now that I have tried to answer the question some that you just ASKED for the first time?
