the meds she take are necessary for daily living no other alternatives. there are many conflicts in life including drugs. you have drugs to keep your blood thin. however, there are other drugs you need like steroids to replace missing chemicals in your body due to tumor damage. these drugs may cause further thinning of blood. then you have bone loss so you take other drugs for bone loss these may conflict with diabeties drug but you need that drug because you are diabetic then you need thyroid drug and it also conflicts with perhaps blood thinning. oh, you need a water pill because the steroids retards the elimination of water. and water pill causes more bone loss. see what i mean.. each independent are necessary for life but yet combined may cause serious side effects . therefore you closely watch blood levels.

that is why i found your comment about the print out on meds amusing. been doing this balancing act for a decade. it can be very complicated when something goes wrong.

ps some of these cause constipation or the opposite. sometimes it is the combination of all them that cause stomach or bowel problems
