"That gradually piece by piece the government will take away the citizen's civil rights. Little by little, and each time with some justifiable reason. Just like the frog being gradually boiled we will wake up one day and find out we have no civil rights left."

First off, people have every right to believe what they believe. So you are certainly entitled to your incredibly paranoid and negative views. That said, consider these points:

1) To hold your belief you HAVE to assume that Americas leaders want to take our rights away. I know that Republicans at least do not. You may solve your woos by just switching parties.

2) You have to assume that the US population would put up with a reality based version of your paranoid dillusions. For example, if the President eaves dropped on Mark Anderson while he was making paranoid government conspiracy to oppress the people calls to fellow doomsayers like Kenny or Sheeeeeeperd, and then locked you up or harrased you in any way shape or form for such calls, Americans would not tolerate it. When you hear of ONE case of abuse, please post it for discussion.

You're anti corporate stuff is silly imo. I think they make bargains for the masses and employ and care for zillions of employees. When there is wrong doing, I'll be on your side. The ones I don't like I don't patronize. Pretty simple, really.
