LindyBill; I shouldn't have used the term "never never land" - but will staunchly defend my position. And, I do not live in "conspiracy theory land". There is no secret and definitely no conspiracy that Bush wants to strengthen the power of the Presidency. Even he admits that. If you want to hand that power to Bush - you hand it to the next and the next President. I will freely admit that I do not support Bush. I had hopes for him, but early on he lost my support. I, like you, am a social liberal and a fiscal conservative. The President is a social conservative (maybe moderate) and is a reckless fiscal liberal. Steve
