electronics is the only thing that gets cheaper and better as inflation creeps on.

Incredible contribution of IC's to the overall macroeconomic pictures - the good thing is that a good portion relies on brain power which is renewable.
Just look at application within cars - the carburator has been displaced by some time with chips resulting in better fuel economy and less emission.
