Since he probably had to sign some nondisclosure stuff before being granted access. But I would guess that nondisclosure agreements are null and void if one suspects a violation of statute.

I heard Rockefeller had said he wrote his concerns to Cheney in long hand because he was forbidden to discuss this with his lawyer, staff, or anyone else.

In the meantime, Republicans are citing this as legal authority wrt Congressional approval.

The Republicans are playing a brand of politicals of which we have never seen played before - at least not here in the United States.
