the only music I do NOT like is country and rap and I have tried to like it doesn't happen for me We are in agreement on that, particularly country. I enjoy a wide variety of music, too. I can't, however, enjoy any music that I can't hear over the noise of the fans. Upon further reflection, I did go to a concert that I enjoyed a lot, not rock, but similarly boisterous. It was the Gypsy Kings when they were at Wolftrap. People were dancing in the aisles. Of course, that was demure compared to a Stones concert. I'd go there to see them again in a heartbeat. Probably not to an arena, though.
