Peter, I am not surprised. In academia, you have a bunch of people that think they are smarter than anyone else, usually have an exalted view of their position in life, have control over young minds, and have tenure. They can sit in their ivory towers and pontificate without interference, while they collect their untouchable salaries, and while they can black ball any teacher that might disagree with them. They don't care about anyone other than themselves. I have little use for any of them, although some are better than others.
