STRATEGEM CAPITAL (SGE.V) - anyone familiar with this? I bought this one early 2000 ... different name ... different business. Never sold it because pps dropped to near zero. Now it is a VC and trading over CA$1.00 ... the only asset they have is a position in Petaquilla Minerals (PTQ.TO) which, by coincidence, I also own.

Hi Jackjc! Sorry if I implied that I was anything but lucky when I sold MAI at the top. It was pure luck, and I rolled the money into another junior that went down with the rest. In fact I took a big hit in my PF when the gold market tanked, and then got into the O&G sector just in time to get slaughtered again when oil prices went soft at the end of '97. I have been more fortunate trading the PMs since I got back in around 2003 but I paid a heavy price to get that experience. Just another bozo on this bus... COACH247
