And by the way, there is IMO a significant difference when the item thus inserted would actually pass on a straight up-or-down vote I appreciate that distinction. is a time-honored procedure that has been practiced by both parties for many years. Yes, it's been practiced by both parties for many years. That doesn't make it respectable. We cheer when our political aims are thus achieved and boo when they are blocked. All of us.
