I saw that and almost posted it, but it's just another sign of disorganization on the administration side as they flail around this year. Jim Hoagland's column started off with a pretty damning list of screwups like that.

I figured they were pretty much redundant after everything we have posted here. At a minimum, if Bush is going to play the tough SOB, he should stop slipping on banana peels and jumping from position to position so rapidly.

You know, if Bush set out to ask people for support on everything he wants to do instead of lecturing us like sheep then branding dissenters as cowards, he might have even built a durable governing majority.

But.....
