You are stretching, ML, to cover every possible response. Just let some of them go. The Bush folk are in deep water/dodo/whatever right now, and you shouldn't waste your brain cells trying to think them out of it. The tide will turn, these things always do. And you'll have a more credible set of positions to defend. But these right now. They've crossed some divides that are unprecedented. And very dangerous. For all of us. Reps and Dems and Independents and not-interested. Etc.
