No, it's the responsibility of the Attorney General. The judicial branch judges, not prosecutes.

I thought that was the judicial branch as outlined in our constitution.

Actually, the Executive Branch is charged with enforcing the laws.

The Judicial Branch determines whether a crime has been committed and dishes out the punishment.

I believe that the Head of State (the Commander in Chief) has the final word on prosecuting crimes against the State.
