The rightwing believes conspiracy theories all the time: 1. Christmas is under siege. 2. Corporate media, owned by the likes of GM and Viacom are liberal including the NYTimes which time and again promotes the interests of the Bush administration. 3. George Soros. LOL. Michael Moore. LOL. Barbra Steisand. LOL. These names strike terror into the hearts of nitwits. 4. Saddam Hussein has WMDs including drones on tramp steamers capable of hitting the Eastern Seaboard, including biological weapons trucks masquerading as weather balloon station, including nukes, including Sarin and Anthrax tipped missiles. 5. 1.5 billion Muslims are getting ready to attack the US of A because they don't like our lifestyle. 6. President Kerry would outlaw the bible. 7. The UN has black helicopters ready to take over the US of A. Those mile markers on the highways are designed to show them the way...to somewhere LOL. en.wikipedia.org This particular conspiracy theory has become a bit out of date but it's corrollary: the 'liberal feminazis' want a one world government run by the UN is alive and well. 8. 'Liberals-Commies' want to make the government pay for cradle-to-grave services and take away money from the well deserving ultra rich so they can't buy another yacht -- boo hoo. Liberals-Commies are everywhere! Boo-ga-boo. Now THAT's a conspiracy theory that's from the last couple of days.
