Frankly, I think CONGRESS is getting too FULL of themselves. The BS that went on the past two days does NOT serve the AMERICAN PEOPLES INTERESTS. Now we are back to a 5 week extention of the Patriot Act, this is insufficient and just means more Partisan bickering over something that is TOO IMPORTANT to be bickering about. jdn On the contrary, the discussion over the Patriot Act is extremely important. It concerns the rights of all Americans. Those rights were reduced under the Patriot Act. Its time to revisit whether that was a good move or not. The fact that Mr. Bush is wiretapping without warrants suggests it was not a good move. The president appears to be too concerned with increasing his powers at the expense of the Constitution.
