Sidney - you are correct in saying that the "True" church is the invisible one made up of those whom God predestines to eternal life but you go to far to say that the visible church is irrelevant> The apostles set up visible churches with visible elements. Baptism - Lord's supper - elders who will give an account for the souls whom God gives them charge over.
I just can't stand listening to any more people tell me their visible church is *IT*... In revelation Christ spoke to 7 churches all of them real visible churches, all of them in different degrees of purity or pollutions. They were all 'true' churches because Christ called them churches. He threatened however to remove a couple of them and make them no churches at all but at the time Christ spoke to them they were real churches. Not everyone in a church is a real Christian but that does not make the church not real. Hope you are well Sidney
