If so, I'd like to send to my dem friends in their Christmas email.

Your dem friends will not see it as you do. They will see a refusal to go along with a stunt, not as a rejection of Christmas. They will not be chastened by it. Send it to them only if you want to provoke a fight.

Yes, its ABSOLUTELY true, I quoted the resolution and vote VERBATIM.
You know, its really sad. When I was a young person I remember Christmas as a really joyous time. People were friendly to one another, lots of decorations not only on the homes but in the streets. Today, at least where I live NONE of that. Maybe 15% of the homes in my neighborhood are decorated (mine is one of them), people are telling children there is NO SANTA, Christmas is out of the stores, frankly its turning into nothing more then a secular holiday (which is what the ACLU types want) with no joy left in it. You and I can remember the past but our children will have no memories at all of it. Sad. jdn
