Hello Q

Thanks for opeening the thread. I do have some picks in mind, many of them are small caps and looking at the beaten up stocks the market has been pretty efficient in selecting winners and losers. I've looked at the yahoo stock screener which offers a lot of criteria; screen.finance.yahoo.com but some are missing (in particular big losers in the last Q / last month). I hope for a decent equity market in January; this will help another trade which is related to the end of year window dressing when it comes to bond yields (they are at the low end again). I'll post my picks around yearend too.

Thanks for the thread. Using Yahoo screener w/ following criteria: <52 wk low (recently) PE > 0 5-year earnings growth > 5% market cap < 500M. Got a list of around 360 names. Took the smallest market cap names and single digit (low teens after I eliminated several if they bounced significantly already) stock price and eyeballed balance sheet. Here is initial listing from which I will pick a few:

btw - i bought nkbs today @1.65
