Yes, you are right on that.
No doubt that on the Northern Hemisphere temperatures have been rising the last 60 years.
While they have gone the other way down South with the Antarctic ice shield getting thicker.
But that remains another story not fit for NY Slimes, CNN and the DC Post.

Crichton is indeed a fiction writer, no doubt about that.
But his latest book, spun around a weak but in the second half not too boring plot, as said is indeed packed with footnotes to sources quoted.
Thus anybody with a sincere interest in global warming is recommended to check just that.
