Sarge, The problem with popcorn is that many Albertans feel that that’s about all they get back through Equalization. I presume some of that sentiment is present in Ontario as well.

I believe that most Albertans don’t mind all that much that we, per capita, contribute so much to Equalization. What ticks us off, however, is that much of that money is wasted on liberal pie-in-the-sky dreams and a welfare state that entraps its recipients into being servile to the Feds.
Then there’s the outright theft of those tax $$$.

Sarge....I have no problem sharing...been doing it for the 40 years that I have been paying income tax. What I DO have a problem with is a government that steals my money and uses it to buy power in the east. Being told that I should take it even deeper up the butt and just keep on smiling for the "sake of the country" by some self-serving liberal sack of crap just sort of ruins my day.
