First of all, the Europeans shipped all over the Northern place including Greenland and the "US" 300 years earlier than that. And as for those bad "Frenchies" moving into the British Isles, if they hadn't, you guys would have spoken a totally different language by now. Those bad guys from France, by the way, were but recycled "improved" Vikings from my home countries. Sure, let's start by giving the Shetland Islands back to the Danes with the rest of the British Isles to follow soon. Now, as for the Japanese Northern Territories, do some Google and get back to me on that when you got the hang of it. The Soviets moved in 2 weeks after the Japanese capitulation and the WW II ended.
