I'm going to guess that this is about right. I think the contractors should be included in the totals for this war. I am willing to bet that after the war, when the death toll is no longer a subject for political finagling, the contractors will be added into the totals and included among the list of military heroes killed in the war. Really, can you imagine making an "Iraq memorial" and leaving off the names of the civilians?

I wonder how many US civilians died in Vietnam.
