They would scream and yell that it was the responsibility og the gov't to protect them from terrorist attacks- -even though they themselves had removed the capability to do so. Consistency is not a virtue for them.

Ethyl mercaptan (CH3CH2SH), a close relative of methyl mercaptan (CH3SH), is the "stinky" compounds enitted by skunks. Both are somewhat toxic.

Breathing Methyl Mercaptan can irritate the lungs causing coughing and/or shortness of breath. exposures can cause a build-up of fluid in the lungs (pulmonary edema), a medical emergency, with severe shortness of breath.
