The market dictates what is needed. If being a Realtor starts paying more, because there aren't many people on that sector, people start considering a carrier in Real Estate business.

If people want only the glamour, the status and the cushy jobs we end up with more doctors than nurses, more architects than plumbers, and more chemical engineers than pharmacists.

The insurance business here in Brazil pays whatever insurance people -the guys who analysis risks- asks. Not many people consider this career. Hence they have the market for themselves. It is a sellers market.

Lawyers and civil engineers a company can get by the bus load.
