Nope. Not one of the writers of the Gospels ever claimed to have met Jesus personally during his life (Paul claimed to have met him after he died).

Does Paul mention where? <g>

Not one of Jesus's desciples wrote these books??? Dang! Apparently, I wasn't paying attention during Sunday school.
