No it was a little known amazing English folk/jazz/blues guitarist Bert Jansch

the song Angie was a phenom for that time , no one could
begin to touch that level of playing then .

He created some real masterpieces early on , Dylan & Paul Simon were both completely blown away by him back in 1966 , Paul Simon put one of his songs "Angie" that Bert had taught him on the 29th Street Bridge album
(and so were most everyone else , blown away <g>)

Did some really pretty stuff of incredible technical mastery and originality , played so you would swear there had to be two people on Guitar ...some beautiful lyrics as well.

An unsung guitar hero from that era ...
