RE: "I like seeing all views, properly articulated and, if possible, sourced."

Ideally, I would think that is what one would expect to see in an unmoderated forum. Interestingly enough, the moderated board you mention, "The View From the Center", specifically prohibits any discussion of 9/11 which questions the official story. If you'll pardon me for saying so, that sounds a bit like saying, "The center is a place where we agree to accept most of the lies on one side and ignore most of the truth on the other, in order to achieve that perfect mindless condition which allows us to watch "Leave It To Beaver" reruns in a state of bliss.". I'm sure the discussions are "civilized". How could it be otherwise when the subject matter is limited to Saturday morning cartoons?

I don't mean to be unkind, but what good is a center view that results from something other than an objective examination of the evidence?

In the mean time, 9/11 is the subject of this forum. You may feel free to express your views on the topic, agree, disagree, or anything in between, with anyone here, including myself, without fear of being banned.

It is crazy isn't it? Not only do these people not question some of the more sinister things this adminstration has either done or simply allowed to transpire on their watch without proper investigation such as 9/11. But some of them actually think Bush is some kind of messenger from God. A good person, driven by his intentions to serve God. Incredible! More like a messenger directly from HELL. Bush has been an incredibly bad person for many people in this world who are unfortunate enough to be on the negative end of his wrath, like the 30,000 Iraqi citizens he actually admitted to killing in this war since 2003, or the 10,000s of families who will go without heat this winter because of his callous energy policies.

I saw one guy on TV saying he has voted Republican all of his life and now he believes he has, in fact, voted for God when he voted for Bush in 2004. That he helped puy God in the White House. That is why this country is so messed up. There are way too many Jesus-Freaks who somehow see a connection between their religious beliefs and Bush. A perfect propaganda assult by the Republicans to capture this gullible crowd of believers.

No chance you'll ever get these types of people to believe anything except the official 9/11 story the government/media disseminate. If they actually think Bush is one with God, there's no way they will believe anything about 9/11 that implicates Bush, no matter what evidence is shown them. Amazing how reality is diverging in this country during this decade.

Another thing that is truly astonishing to any rational thinker is the fact that so many on the right side of the American political spectrum (i.e. Bush supporters) actually look to government and government leaders like Bush/Cheney for moral guidance. If there is one institution that has proven itself entirely void of morals over and over again to the point of absurdity it has to be the U.S. government, and especially the people who lead it. Yet, that is where people go to hang their moral hats?!? The human ability to be irrational has no limits.
