I have acase right now: Yesterday I was at an ophtalmologist. My left eye is uncomfortable and feels like dust is inside. Besides I get a spot in the left third of the field of view of the eye.

This time of the year -summer here- most doctors are in the beach.
Got one after calling 1/2 a dozen. Went there. Told the story. She asked standard stuff. If I had diabetes, had been hit o the head or high blood pressure. Had none.

She send me to a test in two mahcines got two pieces of paper the size of a credit card slip. Examine my eyes for long distance (I wear glasses for reading). She said my view was almost 100% for long distance.

I didn't ask for examine the eprformance of my eye sight, but she's the eye doctor not me. Then she said she need to dilatated my pupils. I asked waht was that. She need to look into my retina.

I said I came ready for that sort of exams she was doing but not more than that. She said I couldn't drive back by myslef and I had a car.

She asked to come back Friday. It cost me USD55.

Now I have to got to my usual hospital near here, where usually my wife finds the docs for me since she has quite a few in the family (actually a cousin is an eye doc but he's, yes you are right at the beach).

I will tell ask him the right questions and tell him what to do and what hes got in his arsenal to sort this out.
